Description & Requirements
About the Role
- This role will support the R&D Technologist with new product development, product improvement, value engineering and ingredient shortfall projects.
- Sample preparation - Batching of ingredients, preparation, cooking and sterilisation of product samples in the R&D kitchen and pilot plant in collaboration with R&D Technologist.
- Ingredient and packaging sample collection and control.
- Quality testing of product samples.
- Maintaining calibration of all laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
- Packaging and sending product samples to marketing and external customers.
About You
- Experience with product quality testing, recording and basic interpretation of results.
- Understand and interpretation of process instructions (recipes, thermal process instructions etc.) and product specification information.
- Well organised and familiar with 5S organisation methods.
- Excellent time management & planning skills.
- Clean drivers licence.
